  3. It was the Muppets on Sesame Street by I think Jim Hanson. I would first try Sesame Street becaust they are still on the air.
I'll try to find it on Netflix.

That was really funny, the funniest thing I have seen them do.

I remember you,I and Daddy watching it on TV and you and I was laughing so hard Daddy thought we were crazy. But then he just couldn't help himself any more and he started laughing with us. He joked about it with me for a long time. Man we laughed till we cried.

  5. Hay Ronnie, I researched that song with Netflix and found these dvd's that are availabile:Sesame Stret:Old School Vol.1: 1969-1974 & Vol. 2 1974-1979. I don't know witch would have that song on it. But if I had to quess, I would have to say it's Vol. 1.
These sould be available at your local dvd store. If it's not let me know and I will order it from Netflix and send it to you. You can maybe make a copy of it. There are some dvd's you can't copy. You won't know until you try. Let me know. Later,

  8. SAME SONG!! REMEMBER I USE TO TAKE YOU'LL HANDS AND DANCE TO THE MUSIC! BUT THE SKIT WAS SO FUNNY. LIKE WE SAID THE FIRST TIME WE SAW IT ON TV ME AND PETER WERE LAUGHING SO MUCH WE WERE ROLLING ON THE FLOOR AND DAD AT FIRST DIDN'T THINK IT WAS FUNNY BUT AFTER A WHILE IT JUST GREW ON YOU AND BEFORE WE KNEW IT WE WERE ALL LAUGHING OUR BUTTS OFF INCLUDING DAD.

    HEY, PETE
DO YOU REMEMBER SEEING THE BEATLES FIRST TRIP TO THE US? THEY APPEARED ON THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW. I REMEMBER THAT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY. THE OTHER STAR I REMEMBER FROM THE THAT SHOW WAS THE FIRST TIME BRENDA LEE APPEARED ON TV. SHE SANG JAMBALA. THAT WAS COOL!!!!!!!

  10. YA, I remember the Ed Sullivan Shoe very well. The ones you mentioned and others like Buddy Holly,Elvis and even The Doors. Do you remember the controversy surronding The Doors?? Old Ed said they could appear if they changed one word in their song they were going to sing. They were not surposed to use the term " Girl we couldn't get much higher." The word they were to change was "Higher." He felt and he was right that it ment doing drugs. They aggread to the terms but when they got on stage they sang it the original way with that word in it and Ed made a public announcement that they would never appear on his shoe again. And they never did. "The Doors" responded with their own public announcement that NO ONE will ever tell them how to sing or perform their music.

P.S. Yes Lilly same song but you really have to see it performed to get the real affect. I don't know if I'll still think it as funny as i thought it was then. But we rolled on the floor with laughter and tears in out eyes. Just like big sis said.

  11. WOW, NOW THAT YOU SAID THAT ABOUT THE DOORS I REMEMBER THAT. IT WAS A BIG STINK OVER ONE WORD. BOY, WHAT DO YOU THINK MR. SULLIVAN WOULD SAY ABOUT THE MUSIC OF TODAY. BET HE'S TURNING IN HIS GRAVE! I'M SURE YOU REMEMBER ELVIS COULD NOT BE SHOWN ON TV BELOW HIS WAIST BECAUSE OF HIS "HIP ACTIONS". MAN HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED. WONDER I 25 YEARS IF OUR GRANDCHILDREN WILL BE TALKING ABOUT US LIKE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE PAST?

  13. JUST GOT A PHONE CALL FROM "ANONYMOUS" AND TOLD ME HE REMEMBERS THE "MU NU MA NU" SONG, TOO. HE REMEMBERS IT BEING A "MONSTER" AND WOULD START FROM WAY BACK AND SING THAT SONG AS HE SLOWLY MAKES HIS WAY TO THE FRONT OF THE TV WITH THE SONG GETTING LOUDER AND LOUDER. HE ALSO REMEMBERS JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WAS OVER THE MONSTER WOULD LEAVE THE SCREEN AND ALL OF A SUDDEN POP UP SINGING THAT SONG. "ANONYMOUS" SAID THAT THE THING SCARDED THE C--P OUT OF HIM.
